Text on the reverse of the meditation card reads:
Lama Tsong Khapa (Losang Drakpa 1357-1419).
Known in Tibet as Je Rimpoche, Lama Tson Khapa became known as the great reformer and founder of the Gelug (virtuous tradition) school. His main emphasis was on the need for proper training in sutra practices before advancing to the esoteric tantra. He wrote two major works: the Great Exposition of the stages of the path and the Great Exposition of the secret mantra, therefore linking both sutra and tantra paths.
