This is a fine quality Full Moon seven metal, hand beaten Tibetan Himalayan Singing Bowl. The Bowls have engraved on them the Full moon symbol and mantra “om mani padme hum”, the manta of compassion.
Full Moon Singing Bowls are made only on full moon nights when it is believed the energy from the moon creates very special healing vibrations. Combined with the content of the metals, the result is a subtle, harmonious sound of the highest quality
All our Singing Bowls are hand picked and played by ourselves in Nepal. We select only the bowls that play well with a suede Puja Stick. These create a warm mellow muted sound that brings out the best in the Singing Bowl (there are many Singing Bowls that don’t play so well or not at all with a Suede Puja stick. These Bowls will only play with a wooden stick and can create an unpleasant abrasive distorted sound)
The Singing Bowl comes with a Suede covered wooden Puja stick for playing the bowl and a nice ornate Brocade design Singing Bowl cushion (design and colour may vary).
The seven metals used to make these Singing Bowls are Copper, Iron, Tin, Lead, Mercury, Gold and Silver
