Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery
Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery and Tibetan Centre was established in 1967 and is the first and largest of its kind in the West. It is located in a peaceful valley on the banks of the river Esk among the scenic rolling hills of the Scottish borders. As well as a centre of Buddhist wisdom and learning, and offering the highest standards of Buddhist teachings, it is also a centre for the preservation of Tibetan Buddhism, arts, medicine and culture.

Based in Preston, Lancashire, Cham Tse Ling is a group of Buddhist practitioners from various Traditions, who meet to say prayers, meditate and hold discussions. Our Tradition is described as ‘Rime’, which means non-sectarian.

Sakya Ling
Based in Reading the main objective of Sakya Ling is to promote the advancement of Buddhism. The Centre provides a place of learning and community involvement holding daily prayers at the centre every day of the week.
This centre is run by our very good friend and a family member of one of our Master Thangka painters.

Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre Manchester
Kagyu Ling, the first Buddhist centre to be founded in Manchester, was established in 1975 by Karma Thinley Rinpoche and Lama Jampa Thaye. The centre allows people to learn the systems of meditation and study of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Buddhism, whose spiritual head is the Karmapa Lama.

Dechen – Intelligence and tradition in contemporary life
Dechen is an international association of centres of the Sakya and Kagyu traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Dechen was founded by Lama Jampa Thaye under the spiritual authority of Karma Thinley Rinpoche. At the centres and groups you can learn the systems of meditation and study taught by the Buddha. Dechen runs a programme of in-depth Buddhist teachings, from one-day events to longer courses.

Yeshe Buddhist Centre
Yeshe Buddhist Centre extends a warm welcome and support to all those who are interested in learning about Buddhism and making it relevant to everyday life. We offer a programme of courses, talks and social events, both for the committed practitioner and for those who simply want to probe the ‘big questions’ and find out a little about the Buddhist approach. We are based in a lovely part of the UK, on the fringes of the Lake District National Park, and close to Cartmel’s ancient priory. It is a wonderful place for peace and reflection and exploring both the outer and the inner world.

Lama Lhakpa Yeshe is a Tibetan monk and has been residing in London, UK since 2004. He teaches Dharma and Buddhist meditation to many friends in London, as well as Scotland, Liverpool, Croatia, Poland and Canada.

Andy Weber
Based in Haverthwaite, Cumbria, Andy is known worldwide for the quality and accuracy of his work. Andy studied for seven years in Nepal under the guidance of a Tibetan Master and his work his much sought after. He teaches Thangka and Buddhist Iconography worldwide.

Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre (KAT)
The KAT Centre is a charity close to our heart. Run by founder Jan Salter the KAT centre does fantastic work in and around Kathmandu taking sick dogs from the street. The animals are then neutered, vaccinated against Rabies and treated for any existing health problems.

Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust
HART is another animal rescue organisation in Nepal dear to our hearts. Our friends Jim Pearson and Barbara Webb from the UK do a lot of good work in supporting this Pokhara and Bharatpur based organisation

Love Nepal
Love Nepal is a registered UK charity based in the Fylde area in the North west of England. The charity was formed to enable us to provide more effective support to our colleagues at the Nepal based charity Development of Women and Children Centre.
