About Our Charity - Love Nepal

We, at Pink Lotus, have been actively involved in charity work in Nepal since 2002. We created the charity DCWC Nepal (UK) around the same time we established Pink Lotus, and the two have worked along side each other since. In that time we have undertook many health and educational projects. These include fifteen schools in rural areas where before there were none. And our biggest challenge, a hospital in a remote area of Nepal where before there were no health facilities for local people.
In 2017 the charity was re-branded here in the UK as Love Nepal. In more recent times our projects have included – House rebuilding, to try and help the many who lost their homes in the 2015 earthquake – Education projects, particularly further education for some of those children who graduated through our school build system – And a women’s Sanitary project aimed at providing women and girls with reusable sanitary packs.
